OF THE WAND AND THE MOON

(Denmark)

Danish neofolk legends OTWATM will return to MJR with two special performances. The ten-year-awaited new album “Your Love Can’t Hold This Wreath Of Sorrow” will be played on the Dūburys stage with a delicate feeling of gloom and a melancholic, almost cinematic atmosphere that can’t be mistaken for anything else. Over the last few years, founding member Kim Larsen has mostly played solo gigs, but on the stage of Juodaragis he will be reunited with the whole band for maximum power. Moreover, on Saturday at midnight Kim Larsen will perform his profoundly meditative and ambient album “Behold the Trees” live for the first time on the magical Eglynas stage.
