Another enchanting surprise on this year’s MJR stage! A phenomenal project of dark folk, rough country and gothic blues, created by extreme metal scene icon Adam Nergal Darski, the soul of the band Behemoth! In 2017, together with British rock guitarist John Porter, he recorded a debut album “Songs of Love and Death”, played up to his love of artists like Nick Cave and Johnny Cash, men who commune with the darkness of the soul via smoky gothic blues and rough country, rather than blastbeats. This have unexpectedly opened up a whole other side of the famous metal extremist. In the dark times of Covid, two more albums came out, featuring various prominent guest artists – Americana style desert ballads have never sounded so groovy and dark! And here is the first performance of Me And That Man in Lituania – as Summer fades away this bewitching mystery will be revealed with a burning passion on the wild island of Dūburys!
