From deep in the forests of Lower Silesia echo the songs of BY THE SPIRITS. Exploring secret wooded places, telling stories about the connections between the man and the Nature, about the spirituality, magic, old gods, love and death.
Crafting beautiful, fragile neofolk music, Michał Krawczuk’s solo project will share hidden messages of the trees, stars, and mountains of his land with the Menuo Juodaragis tribe at his first Lituanian appearance.
One-man folk/neofolk project from the mystic woods of the Lower Silesia and ancient Ślęża mountain. Brought to life in March 2016 by Michał Krawczuk. To this date By the Spirits released demo, EP, joint album with Skalpy z Drzew, two live recordings and finally, in 2018 full length album “We are falling” through the Only the Sun Knows and Urtod Void.
During the only few years of its life, By the Spirits played many shows and had a pleasure to share stage with Death in June, Of the Wand and the Moon, Spiritual Front, Grift. Also gave its performances on legendary Wrocław Industrial Festival and Castle Party. In 2019 By the Spirits signed worldwide deal with Eisenwald and released compilation called “Visions” which is summary of some era of the project life.
