:::::: ARRIVAL ::::::

Coming to the MJR 2010 festival, firstly You should reach Aukštadvaris town, which is on the Middle-Southern part of Lithuania - 57 km from Vilnius and 75 km from Kaunas. There You will easily find pointers and direction to the Devil's Pit and event site. It is only 3 km from Aukštadvaris, North direction. Easy to reach my car or foot. Just on the border of the town You'll see a karting-drome with parking place and turning road left - to Mergiškių forest and MJR.
Route Aukštadvaris - Velnio duobė

After You come to Devil's Pit, You arrive at MJR gates, and here the festival starts...
Exact coordinates of Devil's Pit: 54.61187,24.514747

You can reach Aukštadvaris by public transport (buses), bicycles or automobile (please note that there are limitations on car parking!). Pretty good road for hitchhiking as well. And if You dont care about money much, go by taxi - its about 100-120 Lt (40 Eur) from Vilnius. There is no train connection.
PLEASE CHOOSE THE MOST ECOLOGICAL WAY POSSIBLE.

BY BUS:
Aukštadvaris is on the important road Trakai-Prienai (A16) and there are plenty passing by coaches and mini-buses from Vilnius. At the Vilnius central bus station look for directions to Prienai, Birštonas, Alytus or Marijampolė. Use information service if You are not sure. From Kaunas there are only few buses going straightly through Aukštadvaris, so may be reasonable to travel to Prienai or Birštonas and take other bus there. BICYCLES:
To reach MJR by bicycle this year is much easrier, then in previous years going to Zarasai. From Vilnius riding bicycle to AUkštadvaris would take 6-8 hours. Though we advice to to use the road Trakai - Prienai, which is spectacular, though dangerous because of turns, speeding drivers and trucks. • You are welcome to join an every year bicycle hike "Minam Juodaragin 2010" (Vilnius - Aukštadvaris), organised together with Lithuanian Youth Tourism Center! If You have plans to ride, just contact MJR crew and we'll supply all info.

BY CAR:
Travelling by car, You should get on Trakai-Prienai road (A16 / E23) - its very nice and spectacular, though meander. From Vilnius - go to Trakai and turn to Aukštadvaris there, its really easy. From Kaunas - go to Prienai and turn to Birštonas. From Northern side, Latvia - on Ryga-Vilnius highway (A2) turn to Vievis (road 116) and then to Aukštadvario by road 221.
