This is a long-time Lithuanian project of post-modern scene, each performance of which is marked by ever new deep and misty road to unique sound aesthetics. Although Laurynas Jukonis, miller of GG, composes intoxicating pulses of industrial, ambient, trip-hop, and minimalist electronics, he never forgets the shapes of Baltic ethnics.

The first GG album “Kerai” (Sorcery), released in 1996, took many by surprise with its original concept of composition. The subsequent albums “Aštuoni Nerimo Veidrodžiai" (1997), "Juodi Vasaros Trimitai" (1998), "Brėkšta" (2000 split with Ensemble SP), "S:S:S:S" (2001) were gradually getting darker. In 2003, Dangus label presented the fifth album of GG, “Procesai” CD. The next album is nearly ready and waiting for its release in 2006.

Modern hypnosis of Girnų giesmės, brimming with psychedelic elements, was introduced to the audience of respectable Wroclaw Industrial festival in 2004. On MJR stage, GG is an ever-present and always awaited performer. This time the musician will perform right after his return from mountains, so the audience may expect the set radiating special atmosphere. GG music starts where the words make no sound…
