A conceptual project of audio-visual art and performances exist since 1995, and was known under Šalikapalikau name earlier. The line-up of the group changes depending on idea generation and realisation processes. The ENSEMBLE SP core consists of two - Gytis Skudzinskas (GyS) and Darius Gerulaitis (WEJDAS). Project compositions are oriented mainly to drone, experimental and electroacoustic aesthetics.

ENSEMBLE SP have participated in many art actions, splits and compilations, have released several vinyl EPs and three full albums - "Vitreous Pilgrims Border" 2002 (Fraction Studio, France), "Calligraphy" 2004 (Blade Records, Italy), and the essential audio work - "Explicit/Implicit" 2004 on Drone Records, Germany. In 2005 project springed with several ephemeric records released on variuos independent art labels.

EBSEMBLE SP originator Darius was with the MJR idea from the very first event in 1995. This time two comrades will play Ovro. This comes as a part of collaboration with Finnish sound artist: free, improvized sound collaboration mixing voice records, drone, tempering usual consequency.
