The ensemble has four girls, who happen to be two pairs of sisters from Šiauliai City. The band name shows this duplicity. (Why does this eerie allusion to doppelgangers happen to cross my mind?) The quartet’s history started about six months ago. The girls used to hear Lithuanian folk songs sung by their parents from their early childhood, therefore, their decision to form a band was not accidental. They perform and interpret Lithuanian folk songs now with the help of a guitar, a zither, a violin, etc. “We do want the young generation to take great liking of folk songs. We expect our activities to invite the audience to the roots of the nation…” – claim the sisters.
