Andaja is ancient Lithuanian deity of swamps, wetlands and marshes. This name also reflects the sounds and music produced by this band. It can be shortly defined as the Baltic metal. ANDAJA was founded in 2002. After a few changes now the group has four members: Levas, Marius, Galas and Edvardas. The band has recently recorded its debut album bound to be released in Autumn 2005. Although ANDAJA was nominated as the best heavy music band in Lithuania by the public, it held very few concerts because the musicians dedicated all their time for the records. At the wake of summer, ANDAJA received remarkable reviews in Estonian international festival Haard Rock Laager. No doubt about it, the band will throw its most powerful fireball of music to the audience of Mėnuo Juodaragis this year.
